"clean juicy coffee with notes of blackberry, tangerine, and tropical fruits"
The Farm
The geographic and climatic conditions give Yacuri a soil with a clay loam texture and average annual temperatures of between 18 and 20°C, which favors a humid environment with excellent water retention capacity for vegetation, in addition to contributing to the flow of water towards the ocean currents of the Atlantic.
Yacuri’s moderate altitude significantly influences the flavor profile of its coffee, as the beans ripen at a balanced pace. This favors the concentration of sugars and chlorogenic acids, resulting in the formation of unique aromatic compounds, such as notes of dark chocolate or cocoa, dried fruits such as almonds or walnuts, and sweet nuances reminiscent of yellow raisins. This profile is characterized by a clean acidity and a particular tactile sensation that distinguishes Yacuri coffee.
For these reasons, Yacuri is undoubtedly a corner of the world with unique conditions for the production of high-quality coffee.
